Dhaka, April 28, 2025: Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus inaugurated the ‘Labbaik’ app, designed to facilitate Hajj pilgrims, on Monday at the state guesthouse Yamuna. Alongside the app, he also launched the Hajj Prepaid Card and Hajj Roaming Package under government arrangements to ensure a seamless pilgrimage experience.
Dr. Yunus emphasized that the app would play a significant role in enabling pilgrims to perform their religious duties without hindrance. Marking its first-ever introduction, he urged Hajj pilgrims to utilize the app for a smoother journey.
In a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy, the Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that the app would alleviate concerns related to pilgrims’ mobility in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, coordinated efforts with local mobile operators will provide roaming facilities to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for pilgrims.
