The holy Hajj flights are set to begin from midnight on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The first flight, operated by Saudia Airlines, will depart from Dhaka at 2:15 AM, followed by a second flight by Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
The Ashkona Hajj Camp is bustling with pilgrims, and all necessary preparations have been made to ensure a smooth experience. No complaints or inconveniences have been reported so far.
This year, 87,100 individuals have registered for Hajj. Of these, 5,200 are traveling under government management, while 81,900 are under private arrangements. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has confirmed that 73% of the pilgrims have already received their visas. As in previous years, the Saudi Arabia immigration process for all Hajj pilgrims will be conducted at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Hajj flights will continue until May 31, 2025, with Biman Bangladesh Airlines operating 118 flights, Saudia Airlines 80 flights, and Flynas 34 flights.
The Hajj for the Hijri year 1446 is expected to take place on the 9th of Zilhaj, likely on June 4 or 5, 2025, subject to the sighting of the moon.
