Dhaka, May 24, 2025: The 11th meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for the fiscal year 2024-25 began on Saturday morning at the NEC Conference Room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, under the chairmanship of Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Other members of the Advisory Council attended the meeting.
According to sources in the Planning Ministry, a total of 10 projects, including new and revised ones, were presented for approval during the meeting. It was announced earlier that no press briefing would take place following the ECNEC meeting. However, it is understood that Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus may hold a separate meeting with advisers to discuss contemporary issues after the regular session.
