BPL to Take Place This December, Schedule Confirmed

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to be held as planned this December. This was confirmed by BCB Director Iftekhar Rahman Mithu following the board meeting today.

The upcoming BPL will commence in December-January. Team ownership will be granted for a period of five years. Additionally, the BPL Governing Council will include external members this time.

With about six months remaining until the tournament, the number of participating franchises and their identities remain unconfirmed. However, BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul has assured that both new and existing franchises participating in the upcoming edition will sign a five-year contract with the BCB.
