British High Commissioner to Dhaka, Sarah Cooke, has expressed her satisfaction regarding this visit. On Thursday (June 12), she shared her sentiments on the social media platform X.
Sarah Cooke stated, “It is a great pleasure to welcome Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus to the UK this week.” She further noted that Dr. Yunus’s engagements reflect the shared commitments of Bangladesh and the UK in areas such as democracy, trade and investment, climate action, regional security, and support for the Rohingya.
Dr. Yunus is in London for a four-day visit, participating in several key activities, including a meeting with King Charles. He is scheduled to return to Dhaka on the morning of June 14 after concluding his visit.
