I Don’t Want to Get Married, But I Want a Companion’ - Divya Dutta’s Candid Thoughts

Entertainment Desk, June 11, 2025 : Bollywood’s talented actress Divya Dutta has made it clear that she has no intention of getting married but is open to finding a meaningful companion. In a recent interview with Indian media outlet Hindi Rush, she shared her views on relationships and life.

Divya stated, “If I find a good companion, I’m open to marriage. But even if that doesn’t happen, life goes on beautifully. It’s better to give time to yourself than to be in an unfulfilling marriage.” She emphasized that loving oneself is far more important than compromising in a relationship.
The actress revealed that she has received attention from many men and enjoys it. However, for her, the essence of a relationship lies in communication. “I want a companion who can hold my hand. Even if that doesn’t happen, I have wonderful friends, and I am enough for myself,” she added.
On the topic of marriage, Divya humorously remarked that when a friend asked why she hadn’t married despite being beautiful, attractive, and caring, she quipped, “Perhaps I’m overqualified!” She no longer believes that life is incomplete without a partner.
Divya was last seen in the film Chhaava, which has been a massive success, grossing ₹807.88 crore worldwide and currently streaming on Netflix. Her next project is Nastik, where she stars alongside Arjun Rampal, Ihana Dhillon, and Harshali Malhotra. The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
