Iran's President Rules Out Nuclear Talks Amid Israeli Attacks

Internatinal, June 15, 2025 : Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has firmly stated that Tehran will not engage in nuclear talks if Israel continues its attacks. The statement comes in response to a call from French President Emmanuel Macron, who urged Pezeshkian to reduce tensions and resume nuclear negotiations to avoid further conflict.

Pezeshkian emphasized, "If Israel does not halt its attacks, there is no question of returning to nuclear talks." This stance has led to the cancellation of scheduled nuclear discussions between the United States and Iran, as reported by BBC.
Several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Pakistan, and Venezuela, have condemned Israel for escalating tensions and called for an end to its "occupation mentality" to pave the way for peace.
Meanwhile, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have proposed immediate talks with Iran regarding its nuclear program to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East. According to Reuters, cited by The Times of Israel, these nations are pressing Tehran to take steps toward calming the region.
The international community continues to urge restraint to prevent further escalation in the volatile region.
