The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has reported a significant increase in its income by Tk 14 crore 55 lakh 14 thousand 691 over the span of a year. This information was revealed in the audit report of the party’s income and expenditure for the year 2024 (January 1 to December 31), submitted to the Election Commission (EC).
On Sunday (July 27), a BNP delegation led by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi submitted the party’s financial statement to EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed.
For comparison, in 2022, BNP reported an income of Tk 5 crore 92 lakh 4 thousand 632 and an expenditure of Tk 3 crore 88 lakh 33 thousand 803.
