During his stay in Dhaka, Minister Kamal Khan will hold a key meeting with Sheikh Bashiruddin, the Commerce Advisor to the interim government. He is also scheduled to meet Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus and other senior government officials.
According to sources, preparations are underway for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Joint Working Group between the commerce ministries of Pakistan and Bangladesh. However, the MoU is likely to be signed next week during the visit of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Dhaka.
