Dhaka, 3 September 2025: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has upheld the chamber court’s order, suspending the High Court’s directive regarding the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election. This decision clears all legal obstacles for the DUCSU election scheduled for 9 September.
The full bench of the Appellate Division, led by Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed, passed the order on Wednesday noon. With this ruling, preparations for the DUCSU election can proceed as planned.
