Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has stated that the exemplary life, universal teachings, and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) can ensure peace, justice, and prosperity in today’s conflict-ridden world.
In a message delivered on Friday (September 5, 2025) on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), he said, “The noble ideals and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in both religious and worldly life are the most exemplary and worthy of emulation for the people of the world. Within these lie infinite welfare, success, and peace for Muslims.”
Highlighting that Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), which commemorates the birth and passing of the greatest human being and the final Prophet and Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is a profoundly sacred and glorious day for Muslims worldwide, the Chief Adviser extended heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the people of Bangladesh and the entire Muslim Ummah on this occasion.
He said, “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was ‘Rahmatullil Alamin,’ meaning a mercy to all the worlds. Almighty Allah sent him for the guidance and salvation of all humanity. In the Holy Quran, Allah says about the Prophet, ‘O Prophet, We have sent you as a mercy for all the worlds’ (Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 107). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came to the world as ‘Sirajam Munira,’ a radiant lamp, bringing messages of peace, progress, and prosperity to liberate humanity from the darkness of superstition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and sin.”
The Chief Adviser further stated, “Due to his boundless devotion and love for Allah, unparalleled character, immense compassion, and noble qualities, the Holy Quran describes the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as ‘Uswatun Hasanah,’ meaning the most beautiful ideal. The impeccable teachings and ideals he left for humanity will continue to guide people of every era and century toward liberation.”
Wishing that the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) brings boundless peace and prosperity to all, he added, “May the unity of the entire Muslim Ummah be further strengthened. I pray that by cherishing and following the noble ideals of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), our worldly and hereafter lives are ensured with complete welfare and salvation. Ameen.”
