BNP leader was brutally attacked, complete severance of his right wrist

Norail: In a shocking incident in Lohagara Upazila, Narail, BNP leader Fakir Mirajul Islam (55) was brutally attacked, resulting in the complete severance of his right wrist. 

The attack occurred on Tuesday, April 22, at around 12:30 PM in Sharulia village under Kashipur Union. Two others, Imran Hossain and Babul Sharif, were also critically injured during the assault.

According to police and local sources, Mirajul Islam had a longstanding dispute with local UP member Kazi Rowshan Kazi. This dispute escalated into violence when Rowshan Kazi and his associates attacked Mirajul Islam's residence.

The injured individuals have been referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment, while Imran Hossain is receiving care at Lohagara Health Complex
