Army Chief Inquires About Jamaat Amir's Health

The Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, has inquired about the health condition of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Amir, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.

In a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday (July 20) around 5:30 PM, General Waker-Uz-Zaman shared this information. According to a post by the admin on the verified Facebook page of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Amir, General Waker-Uz-Zaman called to check on Dr. Shafiqur Rahman’s health upon hearing about his illness. The Army Chief expressed his readiness to provide any assistance needed for the treatment of the Jamaat Amir. The Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to General Waker-Uz-Zaman for his concern.
