Supradip Chakma, Advisor on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, has announced that all necessary measures will be taken within the next six months to ensure quality education in the hill tracts. He made this statement on Saturday (July 5) during the closing ceremony of a five-day ‘Hill Fruit Fair’ organized by the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs at Bailey Road in the capital.
He stated that to deliver quality education to the hill regions, digital classrooms will be ensured through internet connectivity via Starlink or solar power, whichever is required. Additionally, the government is working to alleviate the financial hardships of the residents of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The five-day Hill Fruit Fair, which began on June 1, showcased a variety of indigenous and seasonal fruits, natural food products, and handicrafts produced in the hill regions, displayed by organizations and entrepreneurs from various parts of the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
