Whenever specialists deem it necessary, blood will be collected from listed volunteers and provided to patients. |
Dhaka, July 23, 2025 – The Press Wing of the Chief Adviser has assured that there is no shortage of blood for burn victims, dispelling concerns about the availability of blood across all groups.
In a statement released on Wednesday night, the Press Wing announced that a large number of voluntary blood donors, including their blood groups, names, and contact numbers, have been listed. Since fresh frozen plasma is used for such patients, blood is not being collected in advance. Instead, when specialists determine the need, blood will be collected from registered volunteers and donated to patients. The statement emphasized that there is no shortage of any blood group, nor is there any likelihood of such a situation arising.
