Transfer of Five DMP Officers, Including New OCs for Gendaria and Wari Thanas

Five officers of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), holding the rank of unarmed police inspector, have been transferred. Among them, new Officers-in-Charge (OCs) have been appointed for Gendaria and Wari police stations. Additionally, a new officer has been assigned as the Inspector (Investigation) for Mohammadpur Thana.

The transfers were ordered on Sunday (7 September) through an office directive signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali.

As per the order, Gendaria Thana’s OC Abu Shahed Khan has been transferred to the Detective Branch. Golam Mortuza from the Counter Terrorism Investigation Division has been appointed as the new OC of Gendaria Thana. Meanwhile, Wari Thana’s OC Foysal Ahmed has been transferred to the Detective Branch, and Md. A. Rouf Khan from Line of Reserve (LineOR) has been appointed as the new OC of Wari Thana.
