In a tragic incident in Jhikargacha, Jessore, the body of a fifth-grade madrasa student, who went missing during an Eid outing, was recovered from a pond a day later. The body was found early Sunday morning (June 8) around 5:30 AM in a pond in Manikali village, Navaron Union.

The deceased, Sohana Akhtar (11), was the daughter of Abdul Jalil from Chandpur village and a fifth-grade student at Baysa Chandpur Dakhil Madrasa. On Saturday (June 7), during Eid-ul-Adha, news of her disappearance surfaced on social media.
