For the first time in Bangladesh, email services using the ‘.বাংলা’ domain have been introduced by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). On Tuesday (April 15), marking Universal Acceptance Day 2025, BTRC Chairman Major General (Retd.) Md. Emdad Ul Bari officially inaugurated the commission’s website and email application under the ‘বিটিআরসি.বাংলা’ domain.
