Dhaka, June 1, 2025: Two 'cocktail-like' objects were recovered from the sidewalk near Gate No. 2 of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) in Dhaka early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 5:00 AM, according to authorities.
Khalid Monsur, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahbagh Police Station, reported that an explosion involving the objects took place between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM near the Children's Academy, adjacent to the tribunal's gate. However, he clarified that the objects lacked the typical components found in a cocktail explosive.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident so far. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to identify suspects and will take legal action accordingly.
