June 3, 2025, Dhaka: The Indonesian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Armanatha Christiaban Nasir, held a courtesy meeting with Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman. The meeting took place on Tuesday (June 3) at the Army Headquarters in the capital.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged pleasantries and discussed strengthening defense cooperation between Bangladesh and Indonesia in the current context. Emphasis was also placed on enhancing mutual engagement in the military and security sectors. The Indonesian Deputy Minister commended the significant contributions of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in United Nations peacekeeping operations.
The meeting is expected to play a vital role in further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Bangladesh and Indonesia.
