Entertainment, 03 June, 2025 : Popular actress Sabila Noor is making her big-screen debut alongside Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan in the upcoming film Tandav, set to release during Eid-ul-Adha. Known for her work in television dramas and advertisements for over a decade, Sabila has finally stepped into the world of cinema, and her experience working with Shakib Khan has been nothing short of remarkable.
In a recent interview, Sabila expressed her admiration for Shakib, saying, “He has an incredible aura. When he enters the set, everything changes. Despite being such a megastar, he never makes anyone feel that way and remains approachable and joyful.” She admitted to being nervous on the first day of shooting with Shakib but credited his warmth and professionalism for helping her gain confidence. “We had scenes together on the very first day. I was nervous, but his friendliness gave me a lot of confidence,” she added.
Directed by Raihan Rafi, Tandav allowed Sabila to witness Shakib’s dedication firsthand. She noted, “Once the camera starts rolling, the ‘star’ Shakib Khan disappears, and he fully becomes his character. It felt like I was Nishat, and he was Swadhin.” Sabila also found a personal connection with Shakib, as both are introverts who prefer a calm set environment and focus deeply on their roles. “There’s no extravagance with him; he stays in his own space, always thinking about his scenes,” she said.
If all goes as planned, Tandav will hit over 150 cinema halls across the country on the first day of Eid-ul-Adha. The pairing of Shakib Khan and Sabila Noor has already sparked significant excitement and anticipation among audiences.
