Dhaka, June 3, 2025 – The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in ten regions of the country by tonight. The affected areas include Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar.
According to the weather bulletin issued on Tuesday, valid until 1:00 AM, temporary gusty or stormy winds blowing from the south or southeast at speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour, along with rain or thunderstorms, are expected in these regions.
The department has instructed river ports in these areas to hoist Cautionary Signal No. 1 to ensure safety.
