Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP's standing committee, has expressed hope that the Election Commission will make decisions regarding the cancellation of posters and amendments to the Representation of the People Ordinance (RPO) after consultations with all political parties. He made these remarks on Friday (June 10) while attending a milad mahfil for the late Ganaforum president Mostafa Mohsin Montu at a mosque in Katabon.
Responding to a question about when BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman would return to the country, Chowdhury said that people across the country, including BNP supporters, are eagerly awaiting his return. He added that Tarique Rahman would return soon, and preparations for his return are underway.
Commenting on the China visit, Chowdhury noted that the longstanding relationship between Bangladesh and China would be further strengthened through this visit.
