Dhaka, June 25, 2025: Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, Advisor for Disaster Management and Relief, received a 3 crore taka donation cheque from Ecotex Limited to support flood-affected communities. The cheque was accepted on behalf of the Chief Advisor on Wednesday (June 25) afternoon at the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief’s office.
Faruk E Azam thanked Ecotex Limited for their support to flood victims. According to the ministry, a total of 101 crore 16 lakh 72 thousand 303 taka has been collected so far through 242 cheques, pay-orders, and bank drafts for the Chief Advisor’s Relief and Welfare Fund.
The event was attended by Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, ABM Shafiqul Haider, Additional Secretary, Md. Bin Kashem, Executive Director of Ecotex Limited, and Syed Abdul Mannan, Financial Director of Ecotex Limited.
