Iran has claimed to have launched a radar-evading missile attack on an Israeli intelligence facility. According to Iran’s Defense Ministry, the missile was capable of penetrating multiple layers of air defense systems. Citing Iran’s state news agency, IRNA, ministry spokesperson Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik stated, “In today’s attack, we used missiles that could not be detected or intercepted.” He warned that the operation was “unexpected” for Israel and that more such incidents would follow.
Talaei-Nik further claimed that Israel is unprepared for a prolonged conflict, while Iran’s military is highly advanced, with much of its capabilities yet to be deployed. Additionally, Iran’s military reported detecting and repelling 28 “enemy aircraft” in the past 24 hours, including a spy drone attempting to gather intelligence from sensitive areas.
Iran has previously claimed to have shot down Israeli F-35 stealth fighter jets and drones, but these claims lack concrete evidence, such as satellite imagery of wreckage or verification from neutral sources.
In response, Israel has dismissed these claims as “false” and “propaganda.” The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that no aircraft or crew were harmed in their ongoing operations. IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Efi Defrin asserted that Israel has achieved complete air superiority over Tehran’s airspace.
