Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the interim government, stated that the entire nation is united in seeking justice for the July massacre. He made these remarks on Sunday (June 22) during an event marking ‘Judiciary Independent Day’ at a hotel in the capital.
The Chief Adviser emphasized that it is our responsibility to fulfill the dreams that the youth had during the July uprising. He said, “The dreams of the youth can be realized if we work in the right way.”
He further noted that the judiciary lacked independence in previous years. However, the judiciary is now functioning independently, and the tribunals are also operating freely. Dr. Yunus stressed the need for reforms to ensure the continued independence of the judiciary.
