Dhaka, June 22, 2025: The National University has announced a temporary suspension of the recruitment process for principals and vice-principals in all private colleges and educational institutions affiliated with it.
According to a notification signed by Md. Abdul Hai Siddique, College Inspector of the National University, on Sunday, June 22, the decision was made in light of the current national context and potential future circumstances. The notification specifies that all activities related to the appointment of principals and vice-principals in private colleges under the National University have been temporarily halted.
However, this suspension applies only to the recruitment process for principals and vice-principals. Other academic and administrative activities in these institutions will continue as usual, the notification clarified.
Additionally, the notification directed college authorities to remain vigilant and prepared to address the ongoing coronavirus situation.
