Netanyahu Flees as Iran Launches Massive Missile Attack on Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly fled his office in panic following a massive missile attack by Iran on Israel. On Friday night (June 13), Iran launched “Operation True Promise Three,” firing over a hundred ballistic missiles. The assault continued into Saturday morning (June 14). According to CNN, Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz took shelter in a bunker, where they are monitoring the situation.

Iranian reports claim that Netanyahu was moved to an undisclosed location, possibly Greece, though this information could not be verified. A White House official confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Netanyahu on Friday, but his location was kept confidential for strategic reasons.
The attack caused significant damage in Israel, with authorities urging civilians to seek shelter. According to The Times of Israel, over 60 people were injured, including one woman who succumbed to her injuries and another person critically wounded. Others sustained mild to moderate injuries, with many suffering from severe anxiety. Israeli authorities stated they are working to intercept missiles and rescue casualties.
The night sky over Israeli cities was illuminated by streaks of light and fireballs as incoming missiles clashed with defense systems. Media reports indicate that those critically injured were not in shelters during the attack.
