UAE Airspace Closed Following Iran’s Missile Attacks on US Bases in Qatar and Iraq

 


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) closed its airspace on Monday night, June 23, 2025, following missile attacks by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeting US military bases in Qatar and Iraq.
Flight tracking website FlightRadar24 reported on the X platform that the UAE airspace was shut down based on flight paths and air traffic control audio. Earlier, Iran launched missile strikes on the Al Udeid Air Base near Doha, Qatar, where US troops are stationed.
An Israeli official stated that Iran fired 10 missiles targeting the Qatar base. Additionally, US bases in Iraq were also reportedly targeted in the attacks.
The strikes have escalated tensions in the Middle East, with analysts warning that the incident could further complicate regional conflicts.
