In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, “We have successfully completed our highly successful strikes on Iran’s three nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft are now outside Iranian airspace.” He claimed that a “full-force bomb strike” was carried out on the Fordow facility, adding that all US aircraft are safely returning home.
Trump further wrote, “Congratulations to our great American warriors! No other military in the world could have accomplished this. Now is the time for peace.”
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned the US against joining Israel’s “aggressive war,” stating that such involvement would be “extremely dangerous for all.” Speaking to reporters in Istanbul following talks with European diplomats in Geneva, Araghchi said, “If the US actively engages in this war, it will bring irreparable damage to them.”
Earlier, on June 18, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei cautioned the US, warning that military action against Iran would result in “irreparable damage,” according to the Associated Press.
