Bangladesh Air Force Training Aircraft Crashes in Uttara, Dhaka

A Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed in Uttara, Dhaka, today, Monday, July 21, 2025. The aircraft, identified as an F-7 BGI, took off at 1:06 PM and crashed around 1:30 PM, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Lima Khan, an officer at the Fire Service Control Room, told that the aircraft crashed into the roof of the canteen at Milestone College in Diabari, Uttara. Three fire service units are currently working at the scene.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Uttara Division), Mahidul Islam, confirmed to Prothom Alo after 1:30 PM that he was heading to the site following reports of the crash.
