The Bangladesh ‘A’ team is set to participate in the 2025 Top End T20 Series in Australia. Alongside Bangladesh, two other Asian teams will compete in the tournament, with the fourth team yet to be announced.
Nepal’s national team and Pakistan Shaheens have already confirmed their participation. The series will kick off on August 14, with Bangladesh ‘A’ facing Pakistan ‘A’ in the opening match.
Held in Darwin, Northern Territory, this popular T20 tournament will see Pakistan Shaheens compete for the third time, while Bangladesh ‘A’ returns after losing to the Adelaide Strikers Academy in the 2024 final.
Northern Territory Cricket CEO Gavin Dovey said, “We are proud to welcome back the PCB and BCB to Darwin. This tournament is not just about sports but also about promoting the Northern Territory as a destination for travel, living, work, and study. With participation from Pakistan, Bangladesh—two of the world’s most populous nations—and Nepal, this event gains significant international importance.”
BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury added, “We are delighted to return to Darwin. Playing in Australian conditions is a fantastic experience for our emerging players. We are particularly excited about the opening match on August 14, where our young talents will have the opportunity to shine.”
