Beware of the App Stealing Photos from Your Mobile

In this era of technological revolution, smartphones play an unparalleled role in simplifying our daily lives. From entertainment to banking transactions, everything is now at our fingertips. We install countless apps for various purposes, but have you ever considered that these apps could be stealing your phone’s sensitive data and photos?

A new malware named **‘SparkKitty’** has recently surfaced. This malicious app can secretly steal your photos, whether you’re using an Android or iOS device. Disguised as a cryptocurrency app, it appears harmless at first glance. However, downloading it can lead to disaster, as it steals all the photos from your gallery. If you’ve already installed this app, delete it immediately.

**How to Tell If Your Phone Is Being Monitored?** If your phone’s battery drains unusually fast, be cautious. For Android users, go to **Settings > Privacy > Permission Manager** to check which apps have access to your camera, microphone, or location. For iPhone users, navigate to **Settings > Privacy** to review app permissions.
Additionally, spyware apps often connect to remote servers. Check if monitoring tools like Wireshark have been linked to your system. Also, inspect your Wi-Fi router for any unfamiliar connections. These signs can indicate whether someone or an app is spying on your smartphone.
