The Advisory Committee on Government Procurement has approved a proposal for the construction of ten 33/11 kV GIS substations, including land development, under the Power Division. The total cost for this project is BDT 239 crore 70 lakh 573 taka.
On Tuesday (July 1), a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Government Procurement, chaired by Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, was held at the conference room of the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat, where the proposal was approved.
According to meeting sources, based on a proposal from the Power Division, the committee approved the procurement for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of five 33/11 kV substations on a turnkey basis, along with associated land development work. The project will be implemented by Ideal Electrical Enterprise at a cost of BDT 123 crore 2 lakh 78 thousand 26 taka.
Additionally, another proposal from the Power Division was approved for the construction of five more 33/11 kV substations on a turnkey basis, including design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and land development work. This project will also be implemented by Ideal Electrical Enterprise at a cost of BDT 116 crore 67 lakh 22 thousand 547 taka.
