Even though the 12-day war between Iran and Israel has ended, the shadow of this conflict is now falling elsewhere, with Pakistan as the apparent target. According to senior Pakistani journalist and columnist Hamid Mir, recent information and analyses suggest that Israel and India are planning a potential new war against Pakistan.
Following a significant diplomatic or military setback for Pakistan in May 2025, India has reportedly been secretly amassing substantial weaponry from Israel and several Western countries. These actions indicate that India and Israel are jointly preparing for a future confrontation with Pakistan. Hamid Mir believes this emerging threat is not mere rhetoric but is taking shape in reality. He has elaborated on this in various posts on X, providing detailed analyses.
Several Indian institutions, with Israel's cooperation, are now desperate to take revenge on Pakistan. During the recent 12-day Iran-Israel conflict, Pakistan openly supported Iran, which angered many Israelis. This situation has fueled indications of an anti-Pakistan plan between the India-Israel alliance.
On June 18, during the war, Israeli geopolitical expert and former Deputy Defense Minister Meir Masri posted on X in Arabic, stating, “After Iran’s attack, we could attempt to destroy Pakistan’s nuclear program.” This statement sparked significant concern among Pakistanis. Simultaneously, several Indian accounts began spreading similar threats. Posts from Indian accounts claimed, “Pakistan is being denuclearized; this is the final phase of ‘Operation Sindur.’”
Recent arms deals between India and Israel are also seen as part of this plan. Several Israeli arms manufacturers have established factories in India. Beyond missiles, they are also producing drones in India. In 2018, India’s Adani Group and Israel’s Elbit Systems jointly set up a factory in Hyderabad, where Hermes 900 military drones are manufactured.
According to Hamid Mir, Narendra Modi, with Israel’s support, is planning an attack on Pakistan, aiming to turn Kashmir into another Gaza. Ahead of the Bihar elections in October 2025, Modi seeks a victory against Pakistan to bolster his image. Mir claims that India and Israel may jointly launch an attack on Pakistan in October.
However, whether Pakistan will allow Kashmir to be transformed into another “Gaza” remains a critical geopolitical question. The likely answer is no. If that holds true, a potential tri-nation conflict could unleash catastrophic consequences in South Asia, the scale of which is not difficult to imagine.
