According to the weather forecast for internal river ports, valid until 1 PM on Tuesday, regions including Rajshahi, Pabna, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar are likely to experience temporary gusty or squally winds from the south/southeast at speeds of 45-60 km per hour, accompanied by rain or thundershowers. River ports in these areas have been advised to hoist cautionary signal number one.
Additionally, the Meteorological Department stated that by 6 PM on Tuesday, most areas in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Barisal divisions, as well as many areas in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, may experience temporary gusty winds with light to moderate rain or thundershowers. Some areas in Khulna and Rajshahi divisions could also see moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall.
