United Arab Emirates Introduces New Golden Visa: Golden Opportunity for Bangladeshis

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new Golden Visa program for citizens of Bangladesh and India as a pilot project. The program relaxes residency conditions for professionals, introducing a nomination-based Golden Visa with specific requirements. Previously, obtaining a Golden Visa required significant investments in property or business.

The new program includes nurses, teachers, content creators, YouTubers, podcasters, digital content creators, e-sports professionals (aged over 25), luxury yacht owners, and maritime executives. Scientists, corporate executives, frontline workers, school teachers, principals, and nurses with 15 years of experience are also eligible.

Rayad Kamal Aiyub, Managing Director of UAE consultancy Rayad Group, stated, “This Golden Visa program is a golden opportunity for Bangladeshis and Indians.” The application fee is set at AED 100,000 (approximately BDT 3.33 million). Applicants will undergo background checks, including financial, criminal, and social media account verification, along with evaluations of their potential contributions to the UAE’s market and business environment.

Successful applicants can bring family members to Dubai, hire domestic staff and drivers, and engage in any business or professional activities. Unlike property-based Golden Visas, nomination-based visas remain valid even if properties are sold or divided.
