The Egyptian Embassy in Dhaka has announced that Bangladeshi citizens can avail of the ‘Visa on Arrival’ facility at Cairo International Airport, subject to meeting specific conditions.On Monday (August 4), the embassy shared this information through a notice posted on its official Facebook page.
According to the notice, Bangladeshi citizens can obtain a ‘Visa on Arrival’ at Cairo International Airport by fulfilling certain requirements. These include having a passport valid for at least six months, possessing a valid and used visa from the United States, Schengen countries, Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, or New Zealand, and holding a return ticket along with a minimum of USD 5,000 in their bank account.
Bangladeshi passport holders residing in Gulf countries are also eligible for this facility, provided their resident card is valid for at least six months and they are employed in a ‘white-collar job’ (proof may be required). All the aforementioned conditions apply in this case as well. Additionally, applicants must pay a USD 25 fee after verification at Cairo International Airport.
The Egyptian Embassy has urged travelers to thoroughly review these guidelines before traveling to avoid any misunderstandings or issues.
