Four NCPI Leaders Join Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal in Amtali

In Barguna’s Amtali, four active student leaders from the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and NCPI have joined the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (BNP’s student wing).

A joining ceremony was held on Wednesday at the Amtali Upazila BNP office, where the new members were welcomed with flowers by Amtali Upazila Chhatra Dal President Soayeb Helal and Member Secretary Imran Khan. Over a hundred leaders and activists from the upazila and municipal Chhatra Dal were present at the event.

The new members are Nasim Mahmud, Imamul Hasan Asik, Md. Redowan Mridha, and Abdullah Al Noman. During the event, Upazila Chhatra Dal President Soayeb Helal stated, “The inclusion of new-generation student leaders will further strengthen the organizational foundation of Chhatra Dal in Amtali.” Member Secretary Imran Khan added, “Chhatra Dal has always worked to protect students’ rights and restore democracy. We believe the new members will uphold the party’s principles and ideals, making Amtali Upazila Chhatra Dal even stronger.” Nasim Mahmud, one of the new members, said, “There was no scope to achieve our goals in NCPI. Many leaders were involved in extortion and irregularities. That’s why we left the Anti-Discrimination Movement and NCPI to join Chhatra Dal.” Another student leader, Abdullah Al Noman, remarked, “We have joined Chhatra Dal to accelerate the movement for restoring democracy and safeguarding students’ rights.” Leaders from various levels of Chhatra Dal welcomed the newcomers and urged them to play an active role in the organization’s activities.
