Houthi Rebels Claim Drone Attacks on Israel's Haifa Port and Other Key Sites

Yemen's Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for launching drone attacks on four critical locations in Israel, including Haifa Port, Negev, Umm al-Rashrash, and Beersheba. The group's military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, stated that the attacks were carried out in response to Israel's actions in Gaza. Six drones were reportedly used, successfully hitting their intended targets.

The Houthis have vowed to continue such attacks until Israel halts its military operations in Gaza and lifts the blockade. No official statement has been issued by the Israeli military regarding the attacks.

Meanwhile, Gaza's Health Ministry reported that at least 89 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours, including 31 aid seekers. Additionally, 513 Palestinians were injured. The ministry also confirmed that five more Palestinians, including two children, died due to starvation, bringing the total number of starvation-related deaths in Gaza to 227, of which 103 are children.
