Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with Sir Jeffrey Cheah, the founder and chairman of Sunway Group, one of Malaysia’s leading conglomerates.
The meeting took place on Wednesday (August 13) at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Sunway Group operates extensively in the sectors of real estate, hospitality, retail, education, and healthcare.
At the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Chief Adviser Professor Yunus is currently visiting Malaysia.
In a separate meeting, Syed Mokhtar Al Bukhary, the owner of Malaysia’s car manufacturer Proton and utility and infrastructure company MMC Corporation Berhad, also met with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.
