Pakistan Foreign Minister Meets with Jamaat-e-Islami Leaders in Dhaka

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, held a meeting with leaders of Bangladesh’s Jamaat-e-Islami during his visit to Dhaka. The meeting took place at the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka, starting shortly after 4:45 PM.

The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation was led by the party’s Naib-e-Ameer, Abdullah Muhammad Taher.

Prior to the meeting with Jamaat-e-Islami, Ishaq Dar also met with a delegation from the National Citizen Party (NCP). The NCP delegation was led by its Member Secretary, Akhtar Hossain.
