Tarique Rahman Planning to Lead Country Under BNP’s Leadership: Annie

At the biennial conference of Kamalnagar Upazila BNP, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), stated that Tarique Rahman is preparing a plan to govern the country under BNP’s leadership following the upcoming election with the support of the people.

Speaking at the event, Annie said, “As long as Ziaur Rahman’s dreams remain unfulfilled, Tarique Rahman, from London, is meticulously planning to bring those dreams to fruition with a vision for a developed world. We are eagerly awaiting his return. There are still some legal complications, but there are no significant obstacles to his arrival. By November, we hope to see him closer to us, Inshallah.”

The conference was held on Sunday, August 24, at the premises of Hajirhat Union Parishad in Kamalnagar Upazila, Lakshmipur. Annie delivered these remarks during his inaugural speech. He further elaborated, “Tarique Rahman will return to the country. Before his return, he is planning what steps to take, what initiatives to implement to curb corruption, and how to ensure the safety of ordinary citizens. If we fail to control crime and corruption, people might say that the BNP cannot accomplish what Hasina did. Therefore, Tarique Rahman has devised various plans to address these issues.” The conference was chaired by Kamalnagar Upazila BNP Convener Golam Kader. The chief guest was Mahbubur Rahman Shamim, BNP’s Chittagong Divisional Organizing Secretary, and the keynote speaker was ABM Ashraf Uddin Nizam, BNP’s Co-Secretary for Industry and Commerce Affairs.
The event was moderated by Kamalnagar Upazila BNP Member Secretary Nurul Huda Chowdhury and Joint Convener EM Didar Hossain. Special guests included Harunur Rashid, BNP’s Chittagong Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary; Sahab Uddin Sabu, Member Secretary of Lakshmipur District BNP; Hasibur Rahman, Joint Convener; Hafizur Rahman, President of the District Nationalist Lawyers’ Forum; Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, Vice-President of the Lawyers’ Forum; BNP leader Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan; and Abul Hashem, President of the District Workers’ Party.
