Recently, a photo of Adviser Asif Mahmud with a woman went viral on social media. Fact-checking organization Rumor Scanner has claimed that the image was created using artificial intelligence (AI).
In a post on its verified Facebook page on Sunday (August 24), Rumor Scanner stated that the viral photo, purportedly showing Adviser Asif and a woman in a hotel room, was generated using AI technology.
According to Rumor Scanner’s investigation, the image was created by combining two separate photos of the individuals using AI. Additionally, a comparative analysis revealed multiple AI-related inconsistencies in the photo. For instance, a flower held by the woman in the original image appears incomplete and distorted in the viral photo.
