For the first time, the Zia Cyber Force (ZCF) Australia/Oceania branch has been granted approval for an 11-member convening committee. On August 15, through a press release, the central executive committee of Zia Cyber Force, led by Chief Coordinator Wahid-un-Nabi, Squadron Leader (Retd.), Chairman Nasif Wahid Faizal, and General Secretary Safikul Islam, approved the committee with Md. Shariful Islam Shibly as Convener and Md. Badsha Bulbul as Member Secretary.

The committee includes Mehedi Hasan Khan Chowdhury Shishir (New Zealand) as Senior Joint Convener. Joint Conveners are Shamsul Arefin (Victoria), Mahmudul Hasan (New Southaas Wales), and Dr. Kamrul Islam (Queensland). The convening committee members are Ashik Malek Bipul (Victoria), Md. Mahbubul Alam (New Zealand), Shaira Alam Priyanka (New Zealand), Nazmul Huda Sanju (Tasmania), and Rashed Mizan Jewel (New Zealand).
BNP’s International Affairs Secretary Mohammad Rashedul Haque congratulated the newly formed committee, expressing optimism that it will enhance the organizational activities of BNP in the Australia/Oceania region and play a significant role in spreading the party’s ideals among the Bangladeshi diaspora. He noted that approximately 50,000 Bangladeshi citizens reside in Australia, and Zia Cyber Force will work with them to establish a strong social and political presence for BNP. He further expressed hope that Zia Cyber Force will promote positive news about Bangladesh and create a robust voter base in Australia for BNP leader Tarique Rahman in the upcoming national parliamentary election.
Australia BNP President AFM Tawhidul Islam extended his congratulations to the new committee, stating, “In the current digital era, a group is constantly spreading false propaganda against BNP, which poses a significant challenge. However, I believe Zia Cyber Force will effectively counter all misinformation and promote accurate information. The committee members will play a vital role in achieving BNP’s goals and objectives, Inshallah.”
Australia BNP General Secretary Mohammad Haider Ali congratulated the committee, saying, “I warmly congratulate this committee, formed with a blend of young and experienced members, on behalf of Australia BNP. Currently, there is widespread negative propaganda against BNP online, which is a major challenge for the party. In this context, I firmly believe that Zia Cyber Force from the Australia/Oceania region will play a strong role. Through this platform, they will effectively counter negative campaigns and uphold the truth in favor of BNP’s ideals and leadership.”
Volunteer Team’s Central Executive Committee International Affairs Secretary Mohammad Ferdous Ami said, “Every member of the newly approved Zia Cyber Force Australia/Oceania committee has been actively involved in various BNP movements and online advocacy for a long time. I believe this committee’s approval will further motivate them to work tirelessly. Additionally, with the upcoming election in mind, Zia Cyber Force will play a crucial role in building a strong expatriate voter base for the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ (BNP’s electoral symbol).”
