A tragic stampede during a Jashn-e-Julius procession, organized to celebrate the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), claimed the lives of two people and injured at least six others in Chattogram city. The incident occurred around 12 PM on Saturday in the Muradpur area of the city. Among the injured, one person is in critical condition.

The deceased have been identified as Aiyub Ali (60), a resident of Patiya Upazila in Chattogram, and Saiful Islam (13), from the Kalamia Bazar area of the city. They were rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
