Dhaka, May 3, 2025 : The government will offer financial assistance to meritorious secondary-level students (grades 6 to 10) from disadvantaged, orphaned, and disabled backgrounds to ensure their admission to educational institutions. This support will be provided through the Education Assistance Trust.
According to the Trust authorities, eligible students enrolling in or studying at the secondary level in the 2025 academic year can apply for this assistance online. The application deadline is May 22, 2025.
The notification specifies that priority will be given to disabled students, orphans, children of landless families, families affected by river erosion, children of insolvent freedom fighters, students impacted by natural disasters, and those from distressed families. Applicants must upload necessary certificates to support their claims during the online application process.
