Arrest Warrants Issued Against Sheikh Hasina and Sajeeb Wazed Joy

In allegations of corruption regarding plot allocations by the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK), arrest warrants have been issued against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, and 27 others in two separate cases filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). On Tuesday, April 15, Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib accepted the charge sheets submitted by the ACC. Among the accused, 12 individuals are named in one case, while 17 are named in the other. Due to their fugitive status, the court issued arrest warrants against them.

Other individuals facing arrest warrants include administrative officer Md. Saiful Islam Sarkar, senior assistant secretary Purabi Goldar, additional secretary Kazi Wachi Uddin, secretary Md. Shahid Ullah Khandaker, and former RAJUK chairman's PA Md. Anisur Rahman Mia.
