The participants chanted slogans in support of Sheikh Hasina, such as "Sheikh Hasina has no fear, we haven't left the streets," "Sheikh Hasina's government is needed repeatedly," and "Sheikh Hasina will return as a hero." Most of the participants were wearing masks.
This rally marks the first Awami League program in Narayanganj since August 5th of last year. However, the rally concluded within minutes, and the participants quickly dispersed. Photos and videos of the rally have already circulated on social media.
Sonargaon Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mofizur Rahman stated that the rally was conducted swiftly due to the empty roads in the early morning.
The police are actively working to apprehend the participants. Additional Superintendent of Police (Circle B) Asif Imam mentioned that the video footage is blurry, making it difficult to identify anyone.
