The bodies of Md. Muid (35) and his wife, Irene Akhtar (32), were discovered in their apartment on the fifth floor of Zamzam Tower, located on Hare Street Road in Wari, Dhaka. The police recovered the bodies on Saturday night, April 19.
According to the police, the landlord, unable to reach Muid by phone, visited the apartment and, after receiving no response, informed the authorities. Upon breaking the door, the police found the couple's bodies on the bed.
Muid, who was battling cancer, had ceased his toy business due to his illness. Initial assumptions suggest that Muid passed away due to his illness, and his wife may have succumbed to a stroke or other causes. The exact cause of death will be determined following autopsy reports.
